SEATTLE AUTHOR JACK HAMANN’S DEBUT BOOK SELECTED FOR BARNES & NOBLE’S “DISCOVER GREAT NEW WRITERS” PROGRAM
ON AMERICAN SOIL among twenty books worldwide designated for summer 2005 promotion
Barnes & Noble, the world's largest bookseller, has included Jack Hamann's debut book, ON AMERICAN SOIL, in its DISCOVER GREAT NEW WRITERS™ program for summer 2005.
Twenty books were selected for the summer promotion, from among more than 170 publisher submissions, the most submissions in the program's history. Barnes & Noble says the DISCOVER GREAT NEW WRITERS™ program "introduces dynamic new literary writers to an eager reading public, highlighting the most impressive new works published each season." The selected books include authors from England, India, New Zealand and nine U.S. states.
During May, June and July, ON AMERICAN SOIL and the nineteen other books will be featured in special displays in Barnes & Noble's more than 800 retail stores in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
